Green light!

We're back!

Silence in the last coupla weeks has been due to being off the grid; but silence over the last month was caution as we waited for many different pieces to fall into place.

And so they have!

The L.A. (ish) Sheeans are now residence of Windrose Place in downtown Pasadena! Matt resigned as the manager of our storage site and is a free man as of this week and my last day was bumped up, too, to coincide maternity leave! He was also accepted into the Azusa Pacific University Masters of Fine Arts program. Not gonna lie - the idea of being married to a master of something is kinda hot. ;-) While I am technically still an employee of U-Haul, this, too, will come to an end when I begin employment as a Post Production Manager for a touring event group! The tour will not begin for several months (perfect timing to have Petra and practice being parents!) and then it's off to new cities every weekend.

Sound like a lot of traveling? Sound less-than-ideal for a new mommy & daddy? Perhaps.... unless baby and daddy get to come along! The production company, understanding our high value on family and advocating for my motherhood, invited Matt to join the crew as a part-time facilities manager so that our whole family can be together, work for our living, and still put Petra central to our lives.

God is good!

In the mean time, we are settling into our new place, resting, and preparing for school, birth, and a whole new chapter of life.

Other family news:

• Sarah and Nat Sheean are expecting in just a few weeks! June 24th is Isaac's due date.
• Mom & Dad Northend have moved to Michigan to begin their ministry as of June 6th!
• Kelsey Northend was accepted to UC Santa Cruz and begins fall term following this summer!
• Micah Sheean landed a job at Biola which will help considerably with the cost of tuition!
