One down, one to go!
It was so exciting getting status update texts throughout the morning all day Tuesday. Exciting and encouraging! From what I understand, Sarah's labor & delivery went blessédly smooth in the way I hope Petra's birth goes! (unlike all the wonderful "just-in-case" scenarios they show you in la maze class ;-) )
It doesn't look like we'll be making the trek up to see our nephew before Petra comes as the general rule for preggos around this time is limited travel - but soon enough we'll be getting the cousins together.
As for our own developments:
- We are officially out of old apartment and completely in our new one!
- Matt's schooling begins next week, but the homework begins NOW
- I can officially give my upper back a rest by leaning on my humungous tummy! Only 3 more weeks...
There have been some pretty neat progress in the area of work, too. The situation - though still quite unique! - seems to be growing into a more positive environment for our new family with every new development. It will be so good to be working in production again and to continue to work alongside Matt on the same team!
We continue to wait on all the pieces to come together with our finances. Prayer in this area (or at least for my stress level) would be greatly appreciated! We had some hick-ups in timing department that, Lord-willing, don't have an affect on our family in the long run, but sure are testing the limits of my anxiety!
Dad says, "There are three major stressors in the average person's life: changing jobs, changing residence, and having a kid - you're doing all three at once!" I'm not sure if this makes me feel like we are uber-anxious or uber-cool. For now, I'll tell myself we're the latter!
